Big Goals. Little No's.

"I am currently enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Nevada, Reno"

mendesI am a passionate, upbeat, and positive person in society. I view life in a positive manner regardless of what comes my way. I work in the hospitality industry, as a hotel shift manager at Harrahs and Harveys in South Lake Tahoe. I am passionate about my job and the skills that I continue to develop.
I am currently enrolled in the MBA program at the University of Nevada, Reno where I am gaining knowledge on all aspects of a business to allow myself to grown and conquer the goals that I have set forth for myself.
I strive to be a general manager of a hotel one day, with other minor goals that will help me get there. I do not allow people to tell me no. I feel that there is always an opportunity to change anyone’s thoughts and perceptions at any point. Having big goals will allow myself to be happy with what I do in life and what I achieve. Having little no’s come at me, allows me to continue growing and developing into the person I want to be one day. Taking any negative no and turning it into a positive can help make myself stand out from the rest.
I feel that learning from day to day situations is what can make any person successful and happy with what they are doing in life. I strive to take all aspects of my day and realize what I did well and what I can work on in the future. I put my goals first in life and they can only come true if I learn from myself and others that are around me.
I look forward to what life will bring me in the future and will always look at everything in a positive manner.
