I was born and raised in Martinez, California, a little town near Walnut Creek. In 2011 after I graduated high school, I received a scholarship to join the University of Nevada swim team. I decided to accept because I loved the beautiful campus and because I also have family members that live locally. Now, I am a proud resident of Reno, Nevada. I am also a member of the Beta Mu chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta at the university.
What I love about Reno is the location. It is still close to my house (about 3 hours), and also so close to Lake Tahoe. Reno feels like a small community even though it is actually quite big. Reno has welcomed me with open arms and in these short two years has become my home.
